Mega Millions Jackpot Grows to $75M

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $75 million.
A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a market in Fremont and is worth $240,718, a California Lottery official announced.
One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was also sold in Ohio, Texas and Washington and are each worth $250,000.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 40.
The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
