Photos: Galleria Hosts 'Style-Off'

Five contestants strut their stuff in a "style-off" at the South Bay Galleria.

Los Angeles-area fashionistas—and one fashionisto—showed off their style at the on Saturday as part of Project Style, a competition that challenged contestants to put together an outfit that reflected their personal style. Hosted by former Project Runway contestant Nick Verreos, the competition awarded a $1,000 Galleria gift card to the winner, and a $250 Galleria gift card to the contestant voted the "fan favorite."

West Hollywood resident Nikoleta Panteva, who blogs at LiveLoveLA.net, won the judges' approval and the $1,000 gift card with her 1970s-inspired orange and brown outfit purchased from and . West Torrance High School senior Kristy Gail Hargrave won the text-messaging vote to become the fan favorite.

The five contestants—Panteva, Hargrave, Fabian Cabrera, Caryn Lee and Jennifer Barbour—each received a $200 gift card to the Galleria on Saturday morning so they could buy their outfits for the final challenge.

The contest was judged by Verreos, designer and stylist Chelan Gabor and fashion show producer Warren Chaumont.
