CEC: AES Redondo Beach Application Deemed 'Data Adequate'

Here are some things to look forward to today in Redondo Beach.

Happy Wednesday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today: 

  1. On Tuesday, the California Energy Commission declared data adequate AES Southland's application to rebuild its Redondo Beach generating station. This is a significant step forward for AES' controversial plans to rebuild the Redondo Beach power plant, a move that the city has opposed. Check back later for a complete story.
  2. The city of Redondo Beach telephone system will be down temporarily tonight.
