Happy Wednesday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today: 

  1. The Redondo Beach Preservation Commission will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the council chambers, located at 401 Diamond Street in South Redondo Beach. The agenda is available online.
  2. Halloween Adventure, which plans to open a pop-up shop at the old Bristol Farms building at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Palos Verdes Boulevard, is accepting job applications at 10 a.m. today for the final time this year. More information is available on the events calendar.
