Quick Hits: Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness, Halloween

Here are some things to look forward to today in Redondo Beach.

Happy Thursday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today: 

  1. Tonight's public works commission meeting has been canceled. 
  2. Doma Kitchen will host an "evening for breast cancer awareness" tonight, starting at 6 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Walk With Sally. For more information, check out the Redondo Beach Patch events calendar.
  3. Looking for something different? The Redondo Beach Historical Society is hosting a Haunted Halloween family event at the Veterans Park library, located at 300 Esplanade in South Redondo Beach. The event starts at 6:30 p.m.
  4. In case you missed it, Wednesday's top headline was Funeral Set for Mary Harper, Former RBUSD Teacher.
