Donate Gently Used Professional Clothing To South Bay Galleria For Women Re-Entering Workforce
South Bay Galleria has partnered with Designing Women South Bay, a women’s guild in support of Working Wardrobes, for the “Reinvent, Recycle & Reuse Clothing Drive,” taking place April 14 and 15 at South Bay Galleria.
South Bay community members are invited to donate gently used professional clothing including plus sizes, such as skirts, slacks, suits, and button up shirts, as well as purses, shoes and accessories to South Bay Galleria on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 15, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Clothing must be clean and on hangers.
All donations can be dropped off at South Bay Galleria’s own retail space located on Level 3 of the mall, near the AMC Theater.
Clothing and accessories collected during the drive will be presented to women in the Working Wardrobe’s Women’s Career Success program on May 20 at a graduation ceremony.
Red Robin restaurant at South Bay Galleria will also be donating 15 percent of its proceeds on April 14 and 15 to Designing Women South Bay. Simply pick up an event flyer at guest services and present the flyer to your server during your meal.
