These athletes will compete in 11-12
solo, duet, trio and team competition. They qualified for the national
championships by placing among the top three finishers at the regional
championships held in Santa Clarita on May 18, 2013, which featured
top athletes from Southern California and Arizona.

Kathy Wrightsman, who recently graduated from Alta Vista Elementary School in Redondo Beach, will compete in both  team and trio categories.

Synchronized swimming requires a unique combination of strength, agility,
endurance, flexibility and speed. LA Splash! athletes practice 11 hours per
week, 3-4 days per week at the San Fernando Regional Pool.

LA Splash!  was formed as a new club in January 2013, and
already has had great success qualifying four swimmers for the USA National
Team Trials and five swimmers for the Age Group National Championships.  The team is led by coaches Kristin Moya,
Angela Camero and Karen Rosolowski—the World Masters Champion Trio in
2006.
