Connie started writing songs at age 7, and started performing originals in her sophomore year at college. She spent many years battling external expectations for her to pursue a more academic career, but eventually the dam had to spill, and she made the call to commit her life to music. The message of self awareness has inspired Connie to give back to her community by teaming with Freedom4U and helping others overcome personal struggles.

“Since I made that decision [to pursue singing] I have continued to develop my craft. Everyday is a chance to be better, and I’m thankful for that.” Says Connie Lim, “I have found my passion in music. It is me.”
