Eleven competitors traveled to compete in poomsae (forms) and sparring, returning home with 1 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals and 14 top ten national rankings. The team included Master Walter Dean Vargas, Master Mike Boice and competitors: Luigi Lopez, Kamille Karbon, Jack Klunk, Isabella Pugliese, Marcella Pugliese, Chloe Towns, RJ Moore, Jonathan Kim, Victoria Keller, Mitchell Hyneman, Caterina Hyneman and a clutch crew of dedicated parents.

Also from Quest, Mr. Saturday Bashir competed yesterday at the Korea Open in Chuncheon, South Korea and won the gold medal in the light/welter Olympic division.

Next week, Pauline Lopez from Quest will be competing in the 2013 World Taekwondo Championship in Puebla Mexico, the most prestigious taekwondo tournament on the planet. We wish her luck!
