To honor local Southern California law enforcement officers, Civil Service Employees (CSE) Insurance Group, in partnership with Sheriffs and You Foundation (SAY) and Bichlmeier Insurance Services (Booth 615), presented the City Departments of Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach with 18 upgraded bullet proof vests at Vests for the Best 2013 at the FIESTA HERMOSA which took place on Saturday, August 31 in Hermosa Beach, CA.
CSE Insurance Group recognizes that law enforcement dedicate their lives to protecting their communities and the citizens that live there. They planned this event to give something back to these individuals in appreciation of all that they do to protect their communities.

Bichlmeir Insurance Services
Bichlmeier Insurance provides insurance services across California, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado including: Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Torrance, and Van Nuys. Bichlmeier’s Chairman, G.J. “Jerry” Bichlmeier, a retired Los Angeles Police Officer, began selling Civil Service Employees’ automobile insurance to his co-workers in 1961. Joyce A. Bichlmeier, began servicing these policies from their home shortly thereafter.
Jerry and Joyce’s first son, Cary J. Bichlmeier, the company’s President, joined in 1974 and became a principal in 1978. Jerry and Joyce’s second son, Terry who is Executive Vice President, joined the business in 1987 after completing his business degree at Long Beach State. He became a principal when the business was reorganized in 1994. The home office in Redondo Beach was expanded at that time to accommodate the growing business. In subsequent years, the business continued to add markets and products.

Sheriffs and You Foundation
Sheriffs and You Foundation (www.deputysheriffsfoundation.org) provides financial support to prevention programs that serve the poor and vulnerable in San Francisco.
