BCHD Seeks Committee Members

The Beach Cities Health District is accepting applications for openings on committees. Terms start July 1.

Redondo Beach residents may apply to serve on any of three Beach Cities Health District board of directors committees.

Qualified appointed residents will serve two-year terms. Meetings, generally held quarterly, are scheduled for evenings.

Candidates are needed for the Community Health Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Finance Committee.

To apply, complete an application and submit a resume or curriculum vitae by June 3. Select candidates will be contacted for an interview. The two-year terms begin July 1.

The committee positions are open to residents of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach.

BCHD, a public agency, has served the communities of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach since 1955. It currently offers health and wellness programs, innovative services and facilities that promote health. BCHD operates AdventurePlex, a health and fitness center in Manhattan Beach designed with kids in mind, and the Center for Health & Fitness, a comprehensive medically based fitness center in Redondo Beach.
