Dog of the Week: Daisy

Daisy, a six-month-old female pit bull, needs a family who loves her.

Daisy is a six-month-old female pit bull who had a really tough start in life, living outside.

When she first meets new people, Daisy is a little timid, but once she warms up to someone, she is very sweet. She's absolutely wonderful with children and good with other dogs.

Her ideal owners would be a family with children or a young, active couple—all she needs is loved.

She is current on her vaccinations and will be spayed and microchipped.

For more information on Daisy or any of our other previously featured dogs, call the Lovejoy Foundation at 310-350-0980, email the organization, check out its Facebook page or visit its website.

The Lovejoy Foundation is a Redondo Beach-based organization that holds pet adoptions on Saturdays and Sundays from its mobile unit in the Beach Cities. To find the unit's scheduled location, call 310-350-4124 or check the organization's website.
