Don't Expect It to Be Easy to Park Sunday

About 8,000 runners and walkers are expected this Super Bowl Sunday.

Traffic delays and a shortage of parking spaces are expected Sunday morning in a portion of Redondo Beach because of the 36th annual Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K Run/Walk.

Congestion and scarcity of parking spaces are expected between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. west of Pacific Coast Highway, south of Herondo Street and extending to the Rivera Village, the Redondo Beach Police Department announced today.

About 8,000 participants are expected for the race near the Redondo Beach Pier.
