New Kids Club at South Bay Galleria

South Bay Galleria is introducing a free, morning Kids Club to better serve stay-at-home-moms, with enhanced healthy and educational programming designed for fun, too.  The new program partners include AdventurePlex, Roundhouse Aquarium, and SEA Lab (http://www.lacorps.org/sealab.php), located in the Beach Cities.  The evening Kids Club will continue on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, with the new Kids Club debuting Wednesday, June 29 at 10:30am. Kids Club meets on Level 3 in the Food Court. Morning Kids Club is held the last Wednesday of the month at 10:30am.

The new program features a fun, healthy kids club that incorporates principles from the Healthways | Blue Zones Vitality City initiative―a community-wide effort to improve health and well-being by making healthy choices the easy choice.  The innovative public health initiative stems from a National Geographic study of the world’s Blue Zones―places where people live longer, healthier lives.  The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) won its bid to bring the Vitality City program to Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and Manhattan Beach, emerging as the choice from more than 70 cities nationally that expressed interest in becoming the second Vitality City project.
