Hundreds of people gathered Sunday for a paddle-out and reception in Redondo Beach in honor of Body Glove co-founder Bob Meistrell, who died in June.
Meistrell founded the dive company, which is credited with manufacturing the first commercially viable wetsuit, with his twin brother, Bill.
Bill Meistrell in 2006Â died after a battle with Parkinson's.
