Residents Grab 'Taste of the Pier'
The annual Taste of the Pier at the Redondo Beach Pier benefits two local organizations.
Hundreds of people ventured to the Redondo Beach Pier on Sunday to shop, stroll and, of course, get a taste of the pier.
As in past years, attendees to the third annual Taste of the Pier event purchased tickets which could be redeemed for culinary samples at many of the eateries on the pier and International Boardwalk, as well as for discounts and freebies at several gift shops.
Participating establishments included Tony's on the Pier (also known as Old Tony's), Quality Seafood, Sunshine Kite Company, The Boiling Shrimp, Pier Bakery and Great White Shark, among many others.

A portion of the proceeds from the day's events will be donated to the Cancer Support Community - Redondo Beach and the Redondo Beach Educational Foundation.
