Redondo Woman to Appear on 'America's Got Talent'
Angela Hoover of Redondo Beach will compete on Tuesday night's episode of America's Got Talent.
Redondo Beach comedienne Angela Hoover has talent. She hopes it's enough to win the eighth season of NBC's reality television show America's Got Talent.
Hoover made it past the first round on the season premiere, and will compete Tuesday night in Las Vegas to become a finalist in the competition. The overall winner will receive $1 million and a Las Vegas Show.
"It was a surreal experience to have Howard Stern say your name back to you, that was sort of an out-of-body experience for me," Hoover told the Daily Breeze after her audition. "I'm used to watching the show, never thinking I would be on it."

According to her Twitter account, Hoover will be on the episode airing at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Both Tuesday and Wednesday nights' episodes will take place in Las Vegas.
