Dipped Nails InstaGallery - Opening Night

Redondo-based boutique nail salon, Dipped Nails, is set to host their first in-store event of the year in which they are calling, "InstaGallery". The concept of the unorthodox photo gallery is based around the popular photo-based mobile app, Instagram.

"We absolutely love Instagram!", says Nancy Som, owner of Dipped Nails, "...and we also love Redondo Beach! So we thought, why not bring the two together in the form of an in-store Instagram-based gallery. We started off by searching the hashtag "#redondobeach" on Instagram and were surprised to see close to 2,000 pics tagged. We sifted through the pages of pics and selected four "Insta-Photogs" that caught our eye. We reached out to them and here we are!"

Each "Insta-Photog" will have 35 of their personal Instagrams on display for the gallery.

InstaGallery runs through 5/19/12 with opening night on Saturday, 4/28, from 6-9 pm, at Dipped Nails. Opening night's festivities will include a DJ set by J-Heart Selectress, good eats via gourmet teriyaki food truck, N.W.A. (Ninjas With Appetites), drinks courtesy of IZZE, and media sponsorship by JPy Magazine.
