Redondo Beach Historical Society Home Tour

On Saturday, June 11, 2011, the Redondo Beach Historical Society will be hosting a tour of some of Redondo’s finest historic homes.  This is an exciting event for the South Bay, as we feature homes and small businesses that exemplify the historic architecture and craftsmanship of the area.

There are three basic goals of our home tour.  First, we want to educate the community about Redondo’s architectural heritage.  Second, we want to encourage restoration and preservation by highlighting Redondo’s few remaining treasures.  Third, we want to facilitate information exchange between fellow historic homeowners.

The 2011 Home Tour will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11th, and will include 6-7 homes.  In addition to the homes, we plan to have the Morrell House and Queen Anne museums open for tours.    The tour begins at Heritage Court, 298 Flagler Lane, Redondo Beach, CA 90278, or at Christ Episcopal Church, 408 S. Broadway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
