Shoppers at South Bay Galleria will get a glimpse of the new and creative Power of Art (POA) exhibit, held annually at Redondo Beach’s AES Power Plant, when the works of local and visiting artists are previewed in Center Court, Saturday, October 1st, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The Redondo Beach Art group (RBAG), which sponsors the Power of Art with the help of many other community groups, is a co-sponsor of the Galleria event.
Original Art for the Silent Auction will be on display; Redondo Beach Art Group Artist, Linda Gauthier will be doing a demo with her oil paints; Jewelry Artist, Silvia Peluso, will be displaying pieces and giving a wire wrapping demonstration; Stefani Conniff will be in charge of two fun Hands on Art project for kids and adults (in the food court on the upper level); and three Wearable Art Designers, Sasha Bernard, Jill Daskalakis and Suzi Click will be showing their extreme fashions on the runway.
This year’s Power of Art will be held for two weekends, October 14th-16th and Oct 21st-23rd at the AES Power Plant. There, RBAG will spotlight original Art donations for the Silent Auction on display.
