1. TRUE2CRUE 

Where/When: Saint Rocke (142 Pacific Coast Hwy., Hermosa Beach), Friday, 9 p.m.

Why Go: What better way to start the weekend than with a Motley Crue tribute band? Awesome. 21+.

Pricing: $10

Where/When: Grow: The Produce Shop (1830 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach), Saturday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Why Go: Unique and delicious citrus will be available, like Cara Cara, Mango Orange and Melo Golds. Plus grower Lisle Babcock will be there and he's quite a knowledgeable character when it comes to growing organic citrus.

3. WHALE WATCHING 

Where/When: Redondo Beach Marina (181 N. Harbor Dr., Redondo Beach), Saturday, Sunday, 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m.

Why Go: To catch a glimpse of dolphins, sea lions or migrating gray whales.

Pricing: $15-$25, children under 5 are free

 

4. GAME DAY WITH JAY LENO 

Where/When: The Comedy and Magic Club (1018 Hermosa Ave., Hermosa Beach), Sunday, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Because football just isn’t your scene – and this is Jay Leno live!

Pricing: $30

 

5. CAMP INFORMATION DAY 

Where/When: Congregation Tikvat Jacob (1829 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach), Sunday, 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

Why Go: Summer is just around the corner, so it's time to start thinking about getting the kids out into the sunshine. Scholarship information will also be available.

Pricing: Free

 

6. SUPERBOWL SUNDAY 10K/5K

Where/When: Seaside Lagoon (200 Portofino Way., Redondo Beach), Sunday, registration 6 a.m., 5k run/walk start time 7:30 a.m., 10k run start time 8:30 a.m.

Why Go: Weekend long fitness expo will have a variety of booths. There will be live music and a costume contest. Ten thousand people are expected.
