Recently, someone from the Westside was overheard saying, “I moved to the Beach Cities to get away from all the traffic and live somewhere where I can actually find a parking space.” Yes, there is a slower pace in the Beach Cities and perhaps a bit more elbow room. And certainly a beach vibe!
Although the residential lots are more closely spaced as they get closer to the ocean, there remains a visual openness and a small town charm with the small fences that are quite common in our beach community.
