The gas company continues inspections of its gas lines.

The eastbound lanes of 190th Street will be closed for 24 hours this weekend between Flagler Lane and Beryl Street while the Southern California Gas Company continues its federally-mandated inspections of gas lines.

The eastbound lanes will be closed at 9 a.m. tomorrow. They will reopen at 9 a.m. Sunday. Redondo Beach police officers will be directing detour traffic.

This is the second weekend closure of this section of 190th Street within the last month. The company has been conducting inspections of gas lines in the area since the autumn of 2010.
