"Beyond the Shore Festival" to Debut this Weekend

The first annual "Beyond The Shore Festival" will take place this weekend.

As part of the fundraiser, there will be a Guinness World Record event for the largest stand up paddleboard yoga class.

In addition, there will be a relay fun race,  a 4.5-mile stand up paddleboard race and a kids race.

This is a fundraising event for BeyondTheShore.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to ocean conservation and education.

The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Redondo Beach Seaside Lagoon.
