Blake Lively Films 'Savages' at Galleria

Actress Blake Lively and director Oliver Stone are spotted filming their newest movie at the South Bay Galleria.

Shoppers at the on Monday may have caught a glimpse of film crews, actress Blake Lively and director Oliver Stone.

According to tweets from the Galleria's official Twitter account, Lively and Stone were filming their new movie, Savages, which is set to premiere in 2012. In the two photos posted on photo-sharing site yfrog, Lively is shown carrying a shopping bag.

"You are so beautiful! Great filming [at the Galleria]!" a representative of the Galleria tweeted at Lively's Twitter account.

Savages, which Stone is directing, also features Taylor Kitsch, John Travolta, Salma Hayek, Uma Thurman and Benicio Del Toro, according to the Internet Movie Database. The movie is about two marijuana growers whose shared girlfriend is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel.

Lively, 23,  previously starred in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its sequel, Accepted and The Town, among other films. She also plays Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, a teen drama series on the CW network.

Stone is the Academy Award-winning director of Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Platoon (1986). He won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for his work on Midnight Express (1978).

Filming for Savages at the Galleria is expected to continue Tuesday, according to film location resource On Location Vacations.
