Dolce Vita Under New Ownership

Chef Mario Martinoli recently purchased the European deli and restaurant, and he's looking to make some changes.

Celebrity Chef Mario Martinoli is looking to make his mark on in Riviera Village, according to the Easy Reader.

The chef—who has been featured on KFWB, KCAL 9 and CBS 2—recently purchased the gourmet deli, the weekly newspaper reported.

Besides his work in broadcast media, Martinoli is known for his "Mario's Cooking for Friends" cooking school and restaurant. The eatery, which is located in Larchmont Village, is "part Italian market, part delicatessen (and) part restaurant)," according to Martinoli's official website.

Like Cooking for Friends, Dolce Vita is a combination restaurant, deli and market for European foods. According to its website, the market features 70 varieties of imported artisanal cheeses in addition to "authentic German foods and delicacies."

Dolce Vita is located at 1718 S. Catalina Ave. in Riviera Village.
