Galleria Sells Winning Lotto Ticket

The South Bay Galleria sells a Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $190,844.

Friday was a lucky day for one person who spent $1 on a California Mega Millions lottery ticket at the Guest Services desk at the —the ticket is worth $190,844.

Though no ticket matched all the numbers for the Mega Millions jackpot, two tickets sold—one from the Galleria and one sold in Salinas, Calif.—matched the winning numbers 29, 16, 50, 2 and 22, making them eligible for the $381,688 prize, according to a news release from the California Lottery. The tickets missed the Mega number of 27.

"It is true. 11-11-11 was a lucky day!" said South Bay Galleria spokeswoman Mickey Marraffino in response to a message asking for confirmation of the news.

Mega Millions winners have 180 days to claim his or her ticket; the winner who bought his ticket in Redondo Beach claimed his prize Saturday.

Because nobody matched all six numbers in Friday's draw, Tuesday's jackpot will be worth $30 million.
