Ocean Club Bistro Opens at the Apartment Complex

Residents of Ocean Club Apartments now truly have it all: magnificent ocean views, a gorgeous pool, beautiful landscaping and an eatery, which delivers to their doorsteps.

The Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau held a ribbon cutting event Friday to celebrate the grand opening of Ocean Club Bistro.

The bistro is located on the Ocean Club Apartments premises on Catalina Avenue, and it mainly caters to those lucky tenants.

"It is our latest amenity," said Diane Stillman, Ocean Club Apartments property director. "We wanted to provide some unique amenities to our residents, something that really sets us apart in this market place."

Although its primary customers are the tenants, everybody is welcome to stop by and enjoy the food, said Art Yesayan, Bistro owner and manager.  

"We do sandwiches and pizzas. We are going to do kebab pretty soon," Yasayan said.

The menu also contains homemade wraps, salads, burgers, omelets and breakfast specials made of all natural meat and cheese. The place serves as a convenient store and a dry cleaner, too. Many tenants have already been taking advantage of the wide selection of its beverage menu after a morning stroll. 

"We have built-in customers. We just need to give them a great service," said Yasayan, who have two other bistros in Long Beach and Marina del Rey.   

The owner said that they will soon start delivery service outside the complex as well, within a 5-mile radius of the premises.

"It is going to be a great enhancement to the community," said Stillman.
