Sprouts, Chipotle to Open Wednesday

It's been a busy week for new businesses in Redondo Beach. Last Thursday, beverage superstore held its grand opening. On Wednesday, both and will open their doors.

Chipotle's Redondo Beach location at 1430 Pacific Coast Highway will be its fifth restaurant in the South Bay, company officials told the Daily Breeze on Monday. The company boasts more than 1,000 restaurants across the country.

The new Sprouts at 1515 Hawthorne Blvd. will be the company's 56th store in the region and the 100th store in the U.S., according to a news release from Sprouts Farmers Market.

The store is offering freebies to entice customers to visit when the market opens at 7 a.m. The first 500 customers to make a purchase will receive a coupon booklet for 10 free sandwiches and opening-day customers will receive a free reusable grocery bag with their first purchase.

Located in the same shopping center as Sprouts down the street from the South Bay Galleria, Total Wine bills itself as "America's largest independent fine wine retailer," offering more than 8,000 types of wine at its stores.

The store, located at 1505 Hawthorne Blvd., is the seventh of the chain's California stores, according to its website.

Chipotle, Sprouts and Total Wine aren't the only new businesses headed for Redondo Beach. On Twitter, a company representative announced that Ulta plans to open one of its beauty-supply stores and salons in Redondo Beach over the summer. It will be located in the same center as Sprouts and Total Wine.
