Here's the latest roundup of retail, restaurant and other business news and happenings in South Bay's neighborhoods.

Wondering what new businesses are moving into your neighborhood, and which are saying farewell?

Our Sprouts & Shutters column highlights the latest restaurant, retail and other business news in South Bay's neighborhoods.

Sprouts:

Ragin Cajun Café plans to return to Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach near to where the restaurant had operated for almost 20 years.

When its lease was not renewed in 2011, Ragin Cajun morphed into a food truck. Now it will be opening at 425 Pier Ave. in May, next to Buona Vita, according The Beach Reporter.

Smashburger opened in South Redondo Wednesday, bringing its "smashed" burgers, chicken, sandwiches, fries and vegetarian meals to its location at 409 N. Pacific Coast Hwy., Suite 110.

Smashburger founder Tom Ryan attended the opening.

The luxury retailer Satine opened a Manhattan Beach shop in the space long occupied by Magpie. Satine, at 1141 Highland Ave., brands itself as a fashion-forward store catering to actresses, musicians and models with hard-to-find indie labels.

Shutters:

The American Farmhouse Tavern & Dining Hall in Manhattan Beach closes Sunday. The location at 924 N. Sepulveda Blvd. is being sold to a restaurant group that is opening a Cantina Real, the second in the Beach Cities.

Back Home in Lahaina at 916 N Sepulveda Blvd. has closed, but has hopes of opening a new location April 16.

If you've noticed any other new businesses moving into your neighborhood or businesses closing up shop, leave a comment at the bottom of this article and we'll check it out.
