There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in tonight's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $22 million.
Three tickets—one each sold in Missouri, New Mexico and Oregon—had five numbers, but didn't have the Mega number and each worth $250,000, a California Lottery official announced.
The numbers drawn tonight were 37, 39, 42, 53, 55 and the Mega number was 22. The estimated jackpot was $14 million.
The drawing was the second since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 40.
The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
