Banks and post offices, as well as Redondo Beach city offices, will be closed Monday for the Presidents Day holiday.
Both the Redondo Beach Main and North Branch libraries will be closed Monday, as will schools and offices in Redondo Beach Unified School District.
Trash will be collected as usual in Redondo Beach; however, there will be no street sweeping Monday. Street sweeping tickets will not be issued Monday, and the normal schedule will resume Tuesday.
The U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail Monday.
Metro buses and rail lines will run on a normal schedule. Specific schedules for bus lines can be found on the MTA's Web site at metro.net. Beach Cities Transit will also remain on a normal schedule.
The South Bay Galleria will remain open, and several stores are holding Presidents Day sales.
