22nd Annual Redondo Beach Holiday Boat Parade Will Dazzle Spectators with Brilliantly Decorated Boats

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. -- The King Harbor Yacht Club and The

King Harbor Boating Foundation are sponsoring the 22nd Annual Holiday Boat

Parade, Saturday, December 14th from 4:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The theme “Dive into the Season” is a tribute
to Bob Meistrell, founder of legendary Body Glove. The Meistrell family will

serve as Grand Marshalls.

King Harbor will sparkle with multicolored lights, as spectacular

yachts, kayaks, canoes and even stand up paddleboards light the harbor in a

glittering display of holiday splendor with musical accompaniment. Many of the

boats will be brilliantly decorated with animated Christmas scenes, and

carolers and music will round out the entertainment. The Parade begins at 5:30

pm in the Main Channel of King Harbor Redondo Beach.

New this year is a live Internet radio broadcast for

spectators with Internet connected mobile devices. The radio show link can be

found at http://BoatParadeRadio.TheSouthBayShow.com. The Boat Parade, which is
visible at various points along the channel, is FREE to all spectators. It has
become a festive Redondo Beach tradition and harbor highlight.
