5th Annual Baroque Music Festival

5th Annual Redondo Beach Baroque Festival, hosted by Riviera United Methodist Church
Join us for four spectacular concerts which will highlight the music, instruments, and composers of the Baroque Era.  The Festival will begin with a recital on Friday, February 15th at 7:30pm with "A Tale of Two Cities" by Tesseare Early Music Ensemble, exploring the 17th century sacred music of Naples and Venice.   On Saturday afternoon, our festival day begins with a 1pm organ recital by Lynnette Ball McGee featuring works by Bach, Scheidt, Stanley, and Handel.  Tom Axworthy will conduct Faire Wyndes in a recorder ensemble performance at 4pm.  The closing concert at 7:30pm will present masterworks by three German Baroque composers: Buxtehude, Bach, and Handel.  Dr. Dawn Brooks and Linda Waterman conduct the combined choirs from Riviera and Redondo 1st United Methodist churches, soloists, and Baroque orchestra. 

All concerts are open to the public with a free will donation at the door.

Free childcare available for ages 0-5 with a church office reservation.
