South Bay Galleria will hold its second annual “1,000 Points of Light” event on Saturday, December 1, bringing the community together for a celebration of peace and joy.
Starting at 5:30pm, the shopping center will be filled with holiday spirit and candlelight as South Bay families gather together to sing carols while every individual holds a special flameless candle as a sign of peace.
This heartwarming event, in partnership with the Blue Zones Project and Journey of Faith church, aims to spread joy throughout the community and remind people of the true meaning of the holidays. The event will gather 1,000 attendees who will each represent one point of light, or point of hope for the community.
The first 1,000 people to register will receive a free LED candle to hold during the event, as well as a Blue Zones Project bracelet for participating.
Check in for the event begins at 3:00 p.m. near Guest Services, Level 1, Nordstrom wing, and the event officially begins at 5:30 p.m.
