Learn How To Reduce Low Back Pain At Redondo Orthopedic Physical Therapy's Free "First Tuesdays: Get Fit; Get Up and Try!

Whether as a result of arthritis, bad posture, injury or even poor nutrition, depression and smoking, the majority of individuals will experience low back pain at some point in their lifetimes.  Billions are spent on treatment yet there are some simple steps individuals can take to reduce pain or discomfort associated with it.  Redondo Orthopedic Physical Therapy will focus its February “First Tuesdays; Get Fit; Get Up and Try!” presentation on lowering the risk of and treating low back pain.  Part of a series of ongoing monthly presentations dedicated to empowering the South Bay community to develop healthy habits that will prevent injuries and conditions impacting mobility, this Tuesday’s session will focus on the importance of range of motion, stabilization exercises and education on activity and proper posture.
The free and unique interactive presentation will consist of a “teach and try” approach where, following a short presentation on the topic, participants will break into small groups and sample various activities.  The ultimate goal of this “learn by doing” approach is to make permanent changes that will create a strong and healthy body.
