• Local children making bears to be donated to Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles, which will help distribute the bears to local children in need of a teddy bear hug.
• Ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening with spokesperson from Build-A-Bear Workshop, Mayor Scotto and Tamika Banks from Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.
• First 100 Guests invited to make a special bear for free to be donated to Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.  
• Family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, including appearances by Bearemy, the Build-A-Bear Workshop mascot.
