TEDxRedondoBeach

On March 18th, the Redondo Beach North Branch Library will host TEDxRedondoBeach, (x=independently organized TED event).  This is a livestream webcast of  the TED conference.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference. Some are simple viewing events, and some host live speakers.

Attend one or all of the sessions on March 18th at the Redondo Beach North Branch Library.

This event is free and open to the public.  Pre-registration is required.  Register at www.TEDxRedondoBeach.com

The live streamed webcast will be held in the Meeting Room of the Redondo Beach North Branch Library located at 2000 Artesia Blvd. in Redondo Beach.  Free  parking is available at the library. There is also some limited street parking, and after 2:00pm,  parking is available at the Redondo Beach Community Services Department lot, located across the street from the North Branch Library on the southwest corner of Artesia Blvd. and Green Lane at 1922 Artesia Blvd.

(Note: FOR THIS EVENT ONLY, the North Branch Library’s Meeting Room will open early at 8:30am. Full library services and access into the North Branch Library’s book and computer area is at the regular opening time of Noon).
