Trans (Transgender Documentary)

Friday, August 23, 2013 at 7:00p.m., the award winning documentary film TRANS
will be shown at Pacific Unitarian Church, 5621 Montemalaga Drive,

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. A panel discussion with trans experts, the

director, and psychologist will follow the film. Trans is an
extraordinary documentary feature about men and women and all the
variations in between. It is about the Transgender Community, perhaps
the most misunderstood and mistreated minority in America and around the
world. Inspired by the incredible story of retired military officer,
Dr. Christine McGinn and her important work as a transgender surgeon, TRANS
provides an up-close and very personal vision into the lives, loves,
and challenges of a remarkable cast of characters of all ages and from
all walks of life. These are the stories of confusion and courage,
excitement

and emotion that have never been told—until now.
