Retired Air Force Lt Col Bill Flanagan flew the SR-71 as a Reconnaissance Systems Officer in 1980-85.  During that time, he was also exposed to the CIA A-12 aircraft.  The existence of the single seat A-12 was not revealed to the public until 1982.  LCol Flanagan will talk about recently declassified documentation and will focus on the history of the A-12 Oxcart, the extraordinary security precautions imposed upon the program and some of the reasons for them.
