Cat of the Week: Tess

Tess, a 1-year-old tortoiseshell female, was rescued from a gully near Palos Verdes.

Tess is a sweet and friendly 1-year-old girl. She is a beautiful tortoiseshell—also known as a "tortie"—cat with an orange, yellow and black coat, and yellow eyes. She was rescued from a gully near Palos Verdes, where coyotes wiped out a feral colony of cats.

Her foster mom thought she was feral and was going to make her an outside cat, but Tess has turned out to be so sweet that she wants to find her a home. It seems that Tess had a home before, and was probably abandoned.

Tess loves to play and doesn’t mind other cats. She has had all of her shots, and she tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is spayed and micro-chipped.
