Local Business to Donate Profits to Typhoon Victims

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue president and CEO Eddie Flores will match all donations to typhoon relief efforts.

Redondo Beach residents can eat lunch and help Typhoon Haiyan victims at the same time.

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Riviera Village will be donating 10 percent of sale proceeds to typhoon victims in the Philippines from Thursday through Sunday, according to a message on its Facebook page.

This promotion is only valid at the Redondo Beach location.

Additionally, all L&L Hawaiian Barbecue locations will be collecting donations for relief efforts. The restaurant chain's president and CEO, Eddie Flores, will match all funds donated, including those from the Redondo Beach promotion.

Checks should be made payable to the Filipino Community Center with "Disaster Relief" in the memo line.

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and located at 1821 S. Catalina Ave.
