Two Redondo Beach residents were named to the Belmont University Fall 2013 Dean's List, according to a news release from the university and readMedia sent Thursday.
Chloe Fellows and Madison Goldbach each qualified for the Tennessee university's Dean's List, which requires students take a minimum course load of 12 hours and maintain a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade below a C.
"This achievement for the fall semester indicates that these students have placed a high priority on their work at Belmont and have invested time and energy in their studies," Belmont Provost Dr. Thomas Burns said in a statement. "It is our strong belief that consistent application in this manner will reap great benefits, which will equip them for a lifetime of learning and growing."
About 30 percent of the university's 2,900-member student body qualified for the honor, according to the school.
Belmont University is located in Nashville, Tenn.
