Locals Appear on 'Let's Make a Deal'
Redondo Beach residents make a deal with Wayne Brady on the daytime CBS game show.
One of the contestants on Wednesday morning's episode of Let's Make a Deal on CBS may have looked a little familiar to residents of the South Bay.
That's because technology salesman Brent Bush, who dressed as a pirate in the episode, hails from Redondo Beach.
Bush is not the only Redondo resident to compete on the show. Last month, Veronica McGregor, a news and social media manager for JPL and the person behind @MarsCuriosity, appeared.
"The @LetsMakeDealCBS episode I taped in July airs today," she tweeted Nov. 7. "All goofiness aside, I was happy to get in a nice plug for @NASA :)"
That's not all. A third Redondo Beach resident, Melissa Coughlin, is scheduled to be a contestant on next Tuesday's episode.
Both Wednesday's and next Tuesday's episodes were taped in August.
Let's Make a Deal airs weekdays at 9 a.m. on CBS.
