Rotary Donates Children's Books to Library

The Redondo Beach Rotary Club has donated at least a half-dozen children's books to the Redondo Beach Library.

The Redondo Beach Rotary Club is thanking its speakers and supporting the local library at the same time, according to a news release from Amy Feller of the Redondo Beach Library.

"Instead of giving their program speakers individual gifts as a token of appreciation, the Rotary Club is donating a children’s book to the Library in each speaker’s name instead," Feller said.

Donated books include Charlotte's Web; Steam Train, Dream Train; Knuffle Bunny; and Tumford the Terrible, among others.

It wasn't immediately clear how many books in total the club had donated.

The Redondo Beach Rotary meets at 12:15 p.m. Wednesdays at the Bluewater Grill. For more information, visit the club's website.
