2-for-1 Drinks at Coffee Bean Today

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is offering a two-for-one Valentine's Day special Tuesday. Simply buy one drink and the second one (of equal or lesser value) is free.

Unfortunately, the offer isn't valid at all locations, so the store inside off Hawthorne Boulevard is out—but who wants a coffee date in a grocery store? Nevertheless, the in Riviera Village will be participating.

Coffee Bean recently held a Valentine's Day Facebook poll and discovered that 34 percent of first-time daters would prefer to meet at a coffee shop to have peace and quiet while engaging in quality conversation.

Twenty-four percent of respondents said they'd choose a coffee shop so they could have a quick date and end it early if necessary—no need to fork over big bucks for a date going awry. And for a comfortable setting with no pressure, 25 percent said they'd choose a coffee shop on a first date.
