Redondo Beach Welcomes Holiday Season
The Redondo Beach City Council oversees the lighting of the city's Christmas tree and giant menorah.
With the annual lighting of its Christmas tree and a giant menorah, the city of Redondo Beach on Tuesday welcomed the start of the winter holiday season.
The annual assembly hosted by Fox 11 meteorologist and Redondo Beach resident Rick Dickert attracted more than 100 people, young and old, to hear from elected officials, watch the symbolic lightings and listen to choirs from the Redondo Beach Unified School District.
