Blog: AES Debate Continues on South Bay Show

The South Bay Show discusses the proposed AES power plant with an AES representative and other proponents.

If you are a resident of the South Bay, you need to listen to The South Bay Show Thursday morning on Blog Talk Radio.

We have a few guests—all proponents of the new AES power plant—and we'll be giving them an opportunity to discuss their reasons for supporting this very hot-button issue.

Last week, we spoke with members of the opposition, including Redondo Beach Councilman Bill Brand. You can listen to that show online.

If you live in Redondo Beach, you may be asked to vote on this issue in the future, and this is a great opportunity to hear all sides of the subject.

You may listen to the show live Thurday morning at 7 a.m. or at your leisure online

Please be mindful, when you listen to this interview, that there is not enough of a buffer between the proposed AES toxic stacks and therefore not enough area for the toxins to disapate before entering our lungs. No economic or grid supplement argument can justify the risk to our communities health and safety. AES does not own the air we breathe.
