Shuttle Service Begins Between Terranea Resort, Riviera Village

The daily shuttle service will depart from Terranea Resort at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The much anticipated Terranea Resort/Riviera Village shuttle has commenced service!

The new shuttle service will run regularly from Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes to Riviera Village in South Redondo Beach.

The new shuttle stop is located at the intersection of Catalina Avenue and Vista del Mar in front of the Soil Gardening kiosk.

The City recently refurbished the location with new hardscape, landscaping, two mature palm trees, benches and waste receptacles. Signage is forthcoming.

The shuttle will provide Terranea Resort guests the opportunity to shop, dine and take advantage of the many services available in Riviera Village, in addition to providing convenient access to the beach. Other hotels and resorts are expected to participate in the future.

It’s a win-win proposition for locals as they’ll get to use the service free of charge, saving on gas and parking expenses and cutting down on traffic congestion during the busy summer months.

South Bay residents have embraced the many amenities Terranea Resort offers—from the spa packages and restaurants to Nelson’s Summer Concert Series—Terranea has become a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike.

To start, the shuttle will run four times a day and will leave from Terrenea at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The schedule will adjust according to demand.

The shuttle costs will be shared between the Riviera Village Business Improvement District and participating hotels and resorts.
