After a one-year hiatus, Redondo Beach is back on CNN Money's list of the "best places for the rich and single."
Slightly more than one-third of Redondo Beach residents are unmarried, according to the website, and the city's median family income is $118,525.
Upon reading the blurb, however, it's apparent that CNN Money is talking about South Redondo Beach.
"Dubbed the Hollywood Riviera, Redondo Beach was once the playground for Tinseltown's elite," writes Money Magazine contributor Tom Ziegler. "Surf and sand still rule in a city that maintains the feel of a seaside resort. Catch a few rays on the beach, then head to the and to price out a yacht or fish for millionaires."
While the article places the Hollywood Riviera in Redondo Beach, local residents know the majority of the area is in Torrance.
Redondo Beach is ranked No. 5 on the list, which includes 25 cities from across the country and nine from California. Redondo Beach was the No. 1 California city. Other Southern California cities that made this year's list were Santa Monica and Irvine.
Last year, the neighboring cities of Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach were ranked No. 1 and No. 4, respectively; however, neither city made the 2012 list.
In 2010, Redondo Beach was ranked No. 12 on the list.
